Event - Statewide workshop for Nebraska VFT Providers

Location - Lincoln Public Schools - 5905 O Street, Lincoln NE

Date - Wednesday, October 28, 9-3 PM CT

Purpose - Education goes beyond schools and their classrooms. In October, 2014, NDLA sponsored the first Nebraska Providers workshop to introduce video conferencing as an option in place of on-site field trips. The 2015 workshop will revisit and build on the topics of creating VFT lesson plan, how to share and if necessary fund your program, and technical aspects of video conferencing.


Workshop Goals:

  • Enrichment Demo Lessons by VFT presenters

  • Designing a VFT Lesson Plan

  • How to announce your program

  • Ways to fund your program

  • Understanding the Technical aspects of video conferencing

  • The little things that create student engagement.
